What to do...

What do you do when you can see disaster coming, and you know you can't prevent it? Plan for the aftermath, and hope and pray that you'll be allowed to help pick up the pieces.
And hope even more that you're wrong.

mmmm...you futilely try anyways and pray like there's no tomorrow.

that's all I could do when I dreamed 9/11. For that, there truly is nothing I can do but burst into tears whenever someone brings it up or when I meet someone whose friend/relative/parent/sibling died in the towers and I couldn't save them.

That's about what I did. I will, however, have real problems forgiving myself if it happens, even though I know I couldn't prevent it or even warn the person it affects.
