Deathly Hallows???

I'm not hyper yet. I should be, I really should be. I can't even figure out how to think about what it might mean yet, but there's this sense that once I get started, I'm going to be more hyper than Juno and Tasha combined. I'm...I think I'll be bouncing in a moment or two, and my brain is as focused as it can get. *bouncebouncebounce*
Why "deathly"? What does it mean?

perhaps instead of sleepy? whenever I see the word hallow(s) I think of the legend of sleepy hallow. There's also all hallow's eve. I would think the hallows would be a place, personally. Hallow also means to make holy. Actually, I'm rather curious if the deathly hallows could refer to that curtained area in HP 6 (at the end, where we lose dear Sirius Black---that really disturbed me).

Thought it was sleepy hollow? Oh, well. I mistyped it in the title, and I'll have to remember to fix that.
"all hallows eve"--in that "hallows" means "souls". Deathly souls? Sounds like...either Dementors, or...I like your idea about the Veil. Of course, I just want to see Sirius again. How/why did it disturb you?
Thanks for the link. The hyperness is beginning to kick in, unfortunately, but I needed an outlet for my brain and that was it.

well, at least two major chars are going to die. woo. but deathly hallows sounds like a place to me, maybe like voldemort's headquarters or something. eh I always suck at figuring out the riddles, I'm just along for the ride. *gryns*

Do we actually know the two major characters bit for certain? I mean, it makes sense (Voldy and at least one more person--I'm hoping Snape or Bellatrix Lestrange) but I hadn't heard that.
A place...maybe. I'm really not sure what to make of it, or where to start making things of it, so I guess I'm along for the ride, too.
