As Chala would say, what the *expletive*?! There is no snow, no rain, and no school. What's going on here?
Oh, well. At least this means my characters and I can have a nice few hours together. I go to sleep with them talking to me and I wake up with them talking to me. This means something, I'm sure.

I hate thee with a burning passion. I got about four hours of broken sleep last night and if I don't get a half-day for inclement weather I'll shoot myself in the head to end the pain.

I knew you'd say that. Apparently, we have a predicted three to ten inches over the next 24 hours. They really should have just sent us to school and promised to close early--nothing's happening out there yet, and we had a four-day weekend, so we don't really need it.
And I know about broken sleep...between my characters and my cluelessness about whether or not we actually have school, I keep on waking up way too early.

you're psychic! o.O Lol - and we did have an early closing, and it is REALLY coming down outside....*stares longingly out at snow* I love snow, I love snow...I hope I have off school tomorrow, just so I can sleep in late :)

I would have predicted that you got an early closing, too, except I thought it would raise your hopes too much. From where I'm sitting, whether or not I have school tomorrow is largely based on how much stuff freezes on the roads overnight, which a partial modifier based on the stupidity and/or cowardice of Superintendent of Schools Dr. Weast. Probably the same for you.

Early D Thursday... 4 hours before it started flurrying. No school Friday for no reason whatsoever. The snow was melting happily. Early D today, once again hours before it began to snow seriously. And they're talking about closing school tomorrow.

Whee.

Based on everyone's earlier paranoia, I'm probably going to have at least a two-hour delay tomorrow.
Side note: If you get enough right on the multiple choice part of the writing section of the SAT, you can get an 800 even if your essay is "I like cats. The end."
Do you guys have problems with your journal being in read-only mode on a regular basis? Because every other time I try to post--like right now--I can't because it won't let me log in.

Read-only - yes. I've gotten into the habit of copying everything I've written for an entry/comment, attempting to post, going back and re-pasting and trying again for as long as I need to. It'll work eventually...

The odd thing is, it actually keeps everything I write. It just won't let me post. Or log in.
Two hour delay today.
Out of curiosity, guys, do we post things that we write on cultofinsanity, or do we e-mail them, or what? I wrote something on Sunday that I'd like other sets of eyes, but I don't understand how we do this any more.

Yeah read only is a complete pain in the arse. It lets me keep whatever I post too, although I keep worrying that it won't >.< I'm perpetually logged into LJ though, so it never prevents me from seeing entries/trying to update, although it doesn't always actually update.

As for cultofinsanity...*shrugs* do whatever you'd prefer. I have the community on my friend page so I'll see if anything is added, and read it. It might be a bit easier to have a threeway discussion on comment boards rather than email, and I'd like for the community to be used , but hey, whatever floats your goat :)
